La Clozette is a wooden house erected in place of the old charreterie, near the beech slope that separates the property from the fields. The cottage is an apartment nestled above the cellar (where Patrice makes the family cider) and open on the orchard, thanks to its terrace on stilts. La Clozette can accommodate up to 5 people.
Our Normandy is very rich: the Alabaster coast offers breathtaking landscapes and lights that the impressionists cherish. Lovers of nature (sports or not) will find their groove, here at the Clos Delamare: hiking, trail, cycling, running, sailing, parachute, paragliding...
But here, in the Seine Maritime, culture enriches nature: cherished by Maupassant, Dumas, Maurice Leblanc (the father of Arsène Lupin), the cliffs of Etretat have inspired many writers. Architecture enthusiasts will be able to visit Le Havre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover the Cauchois heritage that has happily combined bricks and flint. Without forgetting painting: Monet, Courbet, Boudin...
And what about the gastronomic pleasures that our Normandy offers? Pleasures of the sea and the land found in the markets and good little gourmet addresses...
In short, your stay at Clos Delamare will not be enough to see everything, taste everything, do everything. You will probably have to choose and... come back;-)
"We were looking for comfort, space, calm and a place rich in walks by the sea and cliffs. We had all this, in this beautiful house! Everything was thought by Laurence and Patrice to have a good time. It feels like home (or even better)! Thanks again for a great week, for the advice… See you very soon"
"A superb cottage, furnished with style, very spacious: there were 5 of us and not at all cramped! Located in a quiet village, one can go hiking on the paths of the cliffs from the cottage. The owners are very welcoming. We came back delighted with our stay and look forward to returning!"
"We had an excellent stay in this gite which combines all the qualities. Close to all amenities, high quality equipment, decoration made with great taste and so pleasant environment. Icing on the cake, an exceptional welcome from the owners. Thank you for your excellent advice, your availability, your smiles and your love of Normandy so communicative. Thanks also to Francine for all her very touching little things... It is with great pleasure that we will return."
La Moussette is a brick and flint building: it was the barn of the Clos Delamare, now a large holiday home. Its large windows let in light and open onto the orchard. And its 80 m2 terrace is home to garden furniture, a barbecue and a jacuzzi, so that you can meet up and share convivial moments in complete peace and quiet.
La Moussette can accommodate up to 12 people.
